We arrive, check-in around 11.30 am at our hostel and this is our room ( Triple room ) .  We are getting ready to go out.  The room just nice for us 3 person, simple and clean.  We don't need TV or bathroom inside the room, we just need nice bed to sleep and relax.

Computer with free WiFi for the guest use.

In front of our hostel in Taipei, getting ready to explorer the city.

Taipei 101 , formerly known as the Taipei World Financial Center, is a landmark skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building ranked officially as the world's tallest from 2004 until the opening of the Buri Khalifa in Duhai in 2010.
Taipei 101 comprises 101 floors above ground and 5 floors underground. The building was architecturally created as a symbol of the evolution of technology and Asian tradition (see Symbolism).  Its postmodernist approach to style incorporates traditional design elements and gives them modern treatments. The tower is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes. A multilevel shopping mall adjoining the tower houses hundreds of stores, restaurants and clubs.

When you enter the elevator of 101 you will see this on the ceiling

Wulai is a nature place.  We take MRT to Xindian station then take a public bus to arrive Wulai and it takes about 40 minutes to arrive.

Wulai is a small town with a backdrop of mountains rising over a long stream of small waterfalls. Most people come to Wulai to bask in these hot springs, but visitors can also hike, swim, or even picnic along the cool mountain streams. There are spectacular waterfalls in the area and some excellent bird-watching venues. Wulai is also a prime spot to view cherry blossoms when they’re in bloom in the early months of the year.

Over look at the bay, its a half day trip to go to Sanhsia Old Street.  From Taipei we go by MRT then take a public bus to the top of the mountain.

It's length is about two hundred meters, an its architecture dates back to the early days when the Republic of China was newly established.  Architecture buffs will enjoy the display of Japanese colonial architecture.

It is a short street with cute shops, great if you're wanting to buy some souvenirs and beautiful architecture.

Lot's of great food vendors around the grab a bite to eat too.
Here you can find many grilled octopus, smoked.  All are delicious and we enjoy eating them.

As i told you it's very hard for us to look for Halal foods although Taiwan is full of variety  food that you can get every way.

At our first and second day we only eat Seafood noodle's only.  When we walk around we ask people if we can look for Vegetarian restaurant, only vegetarian restaurant is safe for us as they only serve vegetable's.  So on our 3rd day ...... finely we manage to find one vegetarian restaurant and this is our first meal that is with rice.

Then we found out there is Sushi also in the basement of the Bus Station of Taipei.  Actually  its not that hard to find food for us only you need to keep on looking.  So we enjoy eating Sushi and its not that expensive like in my home town.

It seem like now we are talking about food only yeah.....hahahahahaah.....  And the picture on the left is another vegetarian restaurant that is in the basement of the Bus Station of Taipei.  From that day when we found this restaurant almost everyday we eat here first before going to where we want to go.

Look at this Vegetarian Restaurant !!!!!..... so many
different kinds of ways of cooking vegetables till your eyes random don't know which one to try first.  So what we did is today we choose this side, tomorrow other side and that going on till the last day we stay in Taipei.
